This seminar for architects and engineers examines the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) credits portion of the USGBC LEED Guidelines and the New York State Green Building Tax Credit. Beginning with a review of each section of the IEQ credit, the seminar presents specific methodologies used to attain IEQ credit certification. Topics include gaseous compounds, particulates, microbiology, physical factors, tracer gas air modeling methods, and blower door measurements. Issues discussed include whether green buildings provide better air and water quality than conventional buildings, and if worker productivity higher in LEED certified buildings.
