This intensive one-week program provides a solid foundation for understanding the high-stakes business of commercial real estate. Through exposure to actual cases, students learn the real issues involved in the creation of real estate assets and real estate value. Topics covered include real estate valuation concepts and techniques; the real estate investment framework; capitalization and the income statement; real estate financial analysis; the pro forma; financing and underwriting principles and practices; capital markets, REITs, and debt securitization; and investment analysis/analyzing the deal.

NYCEM-22.5 hours.
