Examine the operational and financial management roles of the facility management professional whose mission it is to provide and maintain corporate and institutional real estate assets and work space. Topics include the evolution of the facility management profession; common organizational models; impacts of globalization and technology on corporate culture and management; the greening of real estate; portfolio and asset management tools; financial forecasting; macro level forecasting; capital and operating budgets; life cycle costing, and planning, programming and budgeting.
