Designed to introduce language professionals to the growing importance of computer-assisted translation, this course uses the translator's point of view to focus on translation memory (TM) tools application throughout all phases of a project. Understand the overlying concepts and terminology, as well as the how, why, and when of operating TM tools. Obtain hands-on time with leading translation technology software from Trados(tm) and SDLX(tm) for document and presentation translation. Learn about low-cost alternatives to mainstream tools that suit your professional needs and financial means.
