SPRING 2012
Continuing Education:
Writing and Speech
Whether the impulse to write comes from a longtime yearning or a more recent desire for self-expression, this creative writing workshop is designed to get students to put pen to paper and capture their memories, dreams, childhood incidents, secrets, and truths in a voice that is uniquely their own. Creative writing assignments are taken from the instructor's book,
Writing From Personal Experience. Aspiring writers learn how to express themselves authentically on the written page, opening up about themselves despite the presence of internal critics looking over their shoulders.
No grades issued.
