Writing and Speech
This course is for those who are so passionate about what to wear that they feel compelled not only to talk about their opinions but also to write them down. Explore the fundamentals of all cultural reporting and writing (observation and description), try on the different forms of fashion writing (including previews, reviews, trend pieces, and profiles), and discuss submission strategies. Survey the world of fashion magazines along with the world of fashion itself and begin to compile a fashion writing portfolio.
