SPRING 2012
Continuing Education:
Writing and Speech
It happens to every writer: you start your novel, memoir, screenplay, or play full of excitement and then the story fizzles before you're halfway through. The solution to this common dilemma is to master the techniques of story structure. This class draws on everything from Aristotle to Xbox to teach you how to construct a page-turning tale that will keep readers up all night or audiences riveted to the screen or stage. Work in-class on the architecture and mechanics of your work-in-progress, whether you are just beginning to form an idea or rewriting a completed manuscript. The course is open to writers working at every level in any genre.
