Arts Programs
Explore the educational programs and services that performing, visual, and other arts organizations can develop with schools, the local community, and the general public. Examine effective institutional and instructional partnerships, and the guidelines and criteria for developing, sustaining, and evaluating them. We focus on current issues and examine the arts and education movement. Topics addressed in discussion and by guest speakers include: Why and how should our organization get involved in education? With whom do we design these programs and services? Who is our potential audience? What are the problems and prospects we face?
