Internship in Arts Administration

Continuing Education: Arts Programs

 

Students gain experience working on-site at an arts organization and complete a written project at the conclusion of their internship. Before applying, you must have completed the three Arts Administration Certificate core courses. Instructor Lauren McGowan, who was associate events producer for the Tony Awards for more than five years, has an extensive background in special events planning and development. Applications must be postmarked no later than September 7, 2009.

 

Prerequisites:
Prerequisites: Managing the Arts/X03.9700, Fundraising for the Arts/ X03.9710, and Marketing the Arts/X03.9701.

Counts as a 10-session arts administration elective.
