Arts Programs
A broad range of organizations and corporations hire experts to create art collections for them. Learn exactly how to conceive of and create an art collection. This course covers how to define a collection and obtain, maintain, and display art (and deaccess when appropriate). The course includes case studies and features guest speakers who have curated both public and private corporate collections, and a visit to one of New York City's excellent collections.
Tuition does not include museum fees. Counts as a five-session arts administration, appraisal studies, or art business elective.
