Identify and investigate the skills necessary to launch, sustain, and grow an art business. All aspects of starting and running an art business are probed, from creating an identity and building a reputation to budgeting and operations management. Practical examples are used throughout. Each student starts the course by stating their business concept to the class. Students then learn the basic elements of a good business plan and begin the process of writing one. This course is ideal for those considering establishing an art business.
