Continuing Education:
Foreign Languages, Translation, and Interpreting
Strengthen your spoken Italian, command of grammar and vocabulary, the quality of your pronunciation, and your understanding of the Italian mind-set and culture. Through weekly readings, tackle a variety of subjects: political, social, and cultural. Each student gives two brief presentations on a subject of personal choice; classmates respond with questions or challenge the speaker's ideas. This lively experience raises students' spoken Italian capabilities to a level where they can express mature, adult ideas in the language. The course is conducted entirely in Italian.
Counts as one course toward the certificate.
