Carefully monitored weekly assignments cover the fundamentals of consecutive interpreting. Using taped material of simulations and actual court case trials, students gain valuable hands-on experience. The class may be taken as part of the Certificate in Court Interpreting Program or as a stand-alone course with prior approval by the Translation Studies coordinator.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Certificate program students must take Fundamentals of Court Interpreting/X27.9601 prior to this course.
