Are you comfortable doing a prepared talk but get tongue-tied when asked to speak off-the-cuff? Whether you're doing a presentation for a board of directors or speaking in front of a classroom of kids, being in the spotlight can be nerve-wracking. This course is designed to help you develop poise, clarity, and a sense of ease with impromptu speaking. Learn how to prepare for the unexpected through in-class exercises, while you brush up on formal presentation techniques. The instructor provides constructive feedback on each person's performance. Self-monitoring is encouraged and aided through the use of videotaping.
