High-dynamic-range photography is as much a sea change in the world of pictures as the invention of color film was 70 years ago. This technology allows images that are far more accurate to what the human eye sees, while also granting control of painterly lighting effects. In this course, students benefit from critiques, guidance, encouragement, and the technical assistance necessary to support their goals. Selected students' work is submitted for inclusion in a New York City gallery group show.
Submission fee is $20. If accepted, there is a $50 show fee, which covers press releases, printing gallery invitations, hanging fee, and all costs associated with the opening, including a wine and cheese reception.
