Arts Programs
Working with watercolor, oil, and/or acrylic paints, beginning and advanced students learn composition, proportion, texture, and mark-making; how to set up the palette, mix, contrast warm and cool colors; and understand realistic and imaginative uses of color. Working outdoors with natural light is a strong component of each lesson, as the class works from life in Central Park. Group and individual instruction is provided, and personal expression is encouraged.
