Designed for the unpracticed writer who lacks self-confidence or the writer whose skills may be a bit rusty, this course covers both the theory and practice of writing well. Learn to write sentences clearly and concisely; develop effective paragraphs; design persuasive openings; arrange facts and ideas logically; increase a piece's coherence; and edit and proofread written material. Your writing is read and reviewed by the instructor and used as a basis for class discussion. Students must speak and read English with native fluency.
