Comics and graphic novels are a powerful and popular medium for storytelling. They fuel the blockbuster media phenomenon and entertain millions worldwide. Hellboy, Watchmen, and Spider-man are just a few of the properties that first appeared in these formats. But how does one get started in this exciting and lucrative field? A noted Marvel Comics writer and editor teaches students how to develop your concepts and ideas to write exciting comics, structure the story, connect with the right artist, and get the green light from an editor. Students are required to complete a comic script by course end.
