SPRING 2010
Continuing Education:
Writing and Speech
It's many peoples' dream to sit around all day watching movies--and get paid for it. Film critics do. Of course, their job requires skill and knowledge. Learn what a reviewer looks for when viewing a film, and turn opinions into intelligent, interesting articles, many of which are better than the films they discuss. Potential markets, both in print and online, are also discussed. Guest speakers may include editors as well as distinguished critics. Students must have a basic command of English grammar and syntax.Five-session Journalism elective
