Continuing Education:
Writing and Speech
Learn the basic elements of dramatic writing with emphasis on theme, dialogue, and characterization. Take part in exercises dealing with conflict, exposition, crisis, and climax. Assignments familiarize students with the use of these structural tools. The screenplay's format and special characters are explored through exercises, lectures, and assignments. By the end of the course, students are prepared to begin work on a full-length dramatic script.
