Whether you're working on a new script or finishing an existing one, pitching Hollywood or the independent filmmaker market, this experience will sharpen your screenwriting skills. The class is designed for intermediate-level screenwriters, for those who have already taken Screenwriting I/X32.9620, or for those with equivalent experience or writing ability. Class time is devoted to workshopping sections of student scripts; in-class exercises; and lectures on creating and improving premise, developing interesting characters, strengthening structure, creating an effective plot, and improving dialogue. Participation is essential.
