Writing and Speech
This tutorial is open to writers of all types of nonfiction, including memoir, biography, creative nonfiction, academic thesis, and service-oriented material. Participants should be certain of their ability to meet deadlines and work independently. Writers meet with the instructor individually for 5 hour-long sessions and discuss a maximum of 150 manuscript pages (double-spaced, 12-point type, and no more than 30 pages per meeting). E-mail five double-spaced pages by January 28, 2010 to scps.nonfictiontutorial@nyu.edu.
Please include a phone number and an e-mail address. You will be notified several days after the deadline. If accepted, your space is reserved for one week. Admission is by permission of the instructor.
