Lecture topics include how to develop a winning marketing strategy, the different categories of voiceover, tips for signing with the right talent agency, and industry standards for a competitive voiceover reel. Learn what it takes to have a successful career as a voiceover artist from industry professionals. Guest speakers include agents, casting directors, and talent. The class may also visit a recording studio and has visited Startrax, the prestigious recording studio where commercials, movie trailers, promos and documentaries are recorded. Special guests have included: the legendary Don LaFontaine, Rodd Houston (the voice of Verizon Wireless), and Bill Graves (voice of ABC's Nightline and Primetime).
