This workshop in advanced cinematography techniques gives you an opportunity to shoot six projects ranging from in-class exercises to fully lit location shoots. Students develop concepts and realize their artistic vision for the projects, gaining the technical knowledge necessary for successful execution. Individual advice is given before each shoot, and all footage is screened for review afterward. Students receive instruction in digital acquisition, hone their skills shooting 16mm motion picture film, and work in teams to master the art of cinematography.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Cinematography/X34.9087 or equivalent knowledge.
