Nuke is a powerful node-based compositing application that delivers speed and multi-channel scanline rendering while adding flexibility and functionality to the VFX workflow. In this hands-on course for those familiar with compositing, students learn the fundamental tools and functions of Nuke. Explore the powerful 3D workspace; projection mapping; geometry modifiers; keying; and Nuke's multichannel, high dynamic range compositing capabilities. Available for Windows and Mac OS-X, Nuke is used to create high-quality digital images and has been used on productions, such as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Ice Age, Resident Evil: Extinction, and Speedracer.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: After Effects: Fundamentals/X36.9230.Recommended: Fundamental drawing skills, 2D Design Principles/X36.9220 and Conceptualization/X36.9221.
