In this intermediate Pro Tools course, students expand their skills and learn in depth about MIDI sequencing tools with the industry's leading software for sound mixing and editing. If you are interested in becoming a recording engineer or want to learn Pro Tools for other applications--such as sound mixing for film or music creation--this course offers a solid next-level learning experience with the software to improve your techniques. Other topics covered include, the process of importing video in the form of QuickTime movies and synchronizing audio to on-screen video events. Master techniques for recording dialogues and Foley and advance skills in processing, mixing, and mastering audio.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Audio Production I With Pro Tools/X35.9481 or equivalent experience.
Students are given lab time in sound-editing suites.
