Learn to create vector based, 2D animations with Flash. Flash animation production is widely used in animation studios around the world. Recent productions span multiple media, such as Romeo and Juliet: Sealed with a Kiss released in theaters worldwide, Crime Time for broadcast television, and the popular, pioneering Web series, "WhirlGirl." With its relatively low cost and ease of distribution, the Internet holds potential for amateur artists to gain wide recognition for a Flash animation production. In this hands-on course, students discover how to create simple Flash animations and discuss the production process from concept to creation, as well as the process of uploading to the Web.

 

Prerequisites:
Prerequisites, 2D Animation: Drawing, Cutout, and Stop Motion/X36.9055 and Flash: Fundamentals/X36.9242, or equivalent knowledge.
