Design and Digital Arts
Every product that hits the market, from iPods to industrial machinery, passes through rigorous phases of design and prototyping before it ever goes into production. Learn how product development starts, and see how management, engineering, and industrial design converge in the conception and design of a physical product. Employing a user-centered design approach, develop a simple prototype and product, learn to identify customer needs, define a product's architecture, and use proven methodologies to design for manufacturing.
