Design and Digital Arts
For any company to succeed, it must establish a personality, or brand identity, that differentiates it in the marketplace. Businesses depend on designers to develop a unique look and feel to be carried across multiple platforms, including print collateral, websites, and broadcast media. A brand image strategy is supported by color, logo, and typography, then documented in a corporate style guide. This course surveys how visual imagery and metaphor define the elements that make one brand shine above its competitors.
