SUMMER 2008
Working together, designers and socially responsible organizations can help raise money and awareness. In this intensive, print, web, and motion designers work on a simulated New York City nonprofit communications challenge to develop prototype graphic solutions with resonance. Intended for students with a working knowledge of drawing, image manipulation, and page layout software, the coursework focuses on developing creative concepts in a studio environment. Explore how the unique objectives of socially responsible organizations--fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer solicitation--impact strategy and demand viable alternatives.
Students will tour Pentagram, the renowned multi-disciplinary design firm with offices worldwide.
