Adobe After Effects, the industry standard for creating 2D animation and visual effects, is used to create motion graphics for broadcast, film, video, and the Web. Learn the essentials of choosing bit-depth, creating projects, importing digitized video footage, importing Photoshop and Illustrator files, and altering time codes. Get hands-on practice viewing and managing footage, setting keyframes, working with alpha channels, applying effects, and animating text. See demonstrations of nesting precompositions, cloning, and time remapping.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisites: Mac OS and Color Modes/X36.9223, Photoshop: Fundamentals/X36.9003, and Illustrator: Fundamentals/X36.9004, or equivalent knowledge.
