Continuing Education: Design and Digital Arts

 

Building on the skills learned in Flash: Fundamentals, this course concentrates on working with text fields, movie clips, and scripting in an effort to begin to develop modular interactive Flash applications. Effective use of variables, functions, if-then statements, and loops are explored in Actionscript, Flash's programming language. Students use multiple content-organization techniques to develop a fully interactive final project in Flash.

 

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Flash: Fundamentals/X36.9242 or equivalent knowledge.
