Adobe After Effects is the industry standard for creating 2D animation and visual effects and is used to create motion graphics for broadcast, film, video and the web. In this intensive, students receive hands-on practice creating projects, managing footage, setting keyframes, working with alpha channels, applying effects and animating text. Learn about importing digitized video footage, importing Photoshop and Illustrator files, choosing bit-depth, and altering time codes. See demonstrations of nesting precompositions, cloning, and time remapping.
Prerequisites:
Recommended: Fundamental drawing skills, 2D Design Principles/X36.9220 and Conceptualization/X36.9221.
