Learn to research and develop proposals for local, state, and federal funding sources--including the earmarks which are an increasingly large part of government funding. Learn about the review process and how to develop and cultivate relationships with government funders. In addition, review how government proposals differ from private foundation, corporate, and individual proposals and the best proposal development processes for government funding. Finally, learn to format and outline a government proposal. Students have the opportunity to read successful proposals to NIH, NSF, NYCDOH, and other government sources.
