Young children's health can be measured by their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. This development is affected by nutrition and by the ease with which children move, learn, and interact in their environment. This course focuses on heightening safety awareness, preventing injuries, promoting healthy eating practices and good hygiene, and preparation and response to emergencies. Participants plan environments that promote learning while keeping children safe and healthy.
