Understand how successful personnel departments find, recruit, select, and place employment applicants at all levels. Discuss in-house recruitment techniques, recruitment resource allocation, recruitment at colleges, and executive placement. Focus on locating and attracting hard-to-find skilled personnel, abiding by EEO regulations, and implementing affirmative action programs. Selection methods include how to read a resume, design a good application form, test applicants, evaluate test results, and check references. Participate in valuable role-playing exercises and benefit from real-world case analyses.
