Sessions cover philosophy and management objectives of the human resource department; job design; recruitment techniques; work rules and discipline implementation; employee orientation, training, development, appraisal, compensation, and benefits; employee rights, protection, and legal representation; legalities and the role of government in human resources; and the use of computerized personnel data systems. Students are prepared to put the most up-to-date HR practices into action.
