This course provides an overview of proposed legislation affecting human resource professionals during the Obama administration, including the Employee Free Choice Act, the Healthy Families Act, and the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Law. Discuss the impact that each piece of legislation may have on current human resource practitioners and develop strategies to address this potential new legislation, as well as changes that may occur in the Natural Labor Relations Board. At the end of the course, students understand the implications for the future of the human resource and employment law practitioner during the Obama years.
