FALL 2009
Continuing Education:
Leadership and Human Capital Management
Effective decision making has become a key factor in personal and organizational success or failure. Leaders are rewarded for making effective decisions and criticized for making poor ones. What makes some decisions more effective than others? We examine the process behind decision making, explore various models and theories, and look at correlating leadership styles. You use case studies to examine decision-making styles--your own and those of others--to implement new decision-making models. By the end of the course, you are able to make strategic decisions more easily, effectively, and with greater confidence.
