Acquire a thorough understanding of the philosophical, historical, and ethical foundations of the practice of coaching. Explore similarities and differences between coaching and related disciplines, and consider the scope of coaching's potential. Learn and practice basic coaching skills in real-time conversations, and experience the effect of these skills as a coachee.
Required for students pursuing the Certificate in Coaching. It may not be waived and should be taken first, before any other required coaching courses. It may be taken concurrently with electives.
