Leadership and Human Capital Management
Building on Foundations of Coaching I, this course explores various coaching skills, operating assumptions, and practices. Students experiment with the language of coaching and distinguish the effects of various techniques. They use a defined process to structure a coaching session, learn the benefits of this structure, and employ a defined methodology to establish credibility and build trust with the coachee. Students complete the course having coached and having been coached.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Foundations of Coaching I/X49.9800
Required for students pursuing the Certificate in Coaching. It should be taken directly after Foundations of Coaching I/X49.9800, before any other required coaching courses. It may be taken concurrently with electives.
