Search engine marketing (SEM) is grabbing a larger percentage of online marketing budgets than ever before, creating employment opportunities for SEM-experienced marketers. In this course, which builds upon the strategies discussed in Strategic Search Engine Marketing, you work with campaign managers from Google, MSN, Yahoo, and ASK.com to obtain hands-on training using advanced techniques to maximize results; develop and execute a campaign; and launch, analyze, and measure the efficiency of your search marketing efforts. Google provides up to $50 coupons for use in AdWords accounts. Students take the qualifying exam to earn the distinction of Qualified Individual in the Google Advertising Professional Program.

 

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Strategic Search Engine Marketing/X50.9508 or a minimum of two years of search engine marketing experience.

Co-requisites:
Although not required, students with their own websites gain additional value from working on a real-life campaign. Supported by [GOOGLE Logo]
