Summer Institute in Public Relations Strategy and Execution

Nearly every industry today requires a coordinated and effective public relations effort. As one the 10 fastest growing professions over the next 10 years according to Fortune magazine, the focus of this program is to provide students with the unique opportunity to learn the business of PR in-depth from outstanding professionals in New York’s corporate, press, agency, and consulting worlds. These skills are developed through interactive lectures, demonstrations, assignments, and feedback sessions. This intensive program gives you a practical blueprint for developing a successful public relations campaign based on a case study offered by a real-world client.

  • Media relations and publicity techniques.
  • Ethics, spokesmanship, and crisis communication.
  • Client research and consultation.

PROGRAM NOTES
Students receive a certificate of completion.

Tuition includes complimentary continental breakfast daily and course materials from faculty. Textbook is purchased separately. A separate activity fee of $50 must be paid by a separate check or money order made payable to New York University the first day of the program. Students are encouraged to be available weekday evenings to work on team projects.

 

There is a separate hospitality fee of $50 that must be paid on the first day of the program via check or money order. Make checks payable to New York University.
