Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations
This course stresses the three areas of expertise necessary for PR communicators to earn a seat at the leadership table: an in-depth knowledge of its parts, including finance, product development, marketing, and human resources; a world view that includes knowledge of the particular issues that directly impact the organization; and the ability to give advice and build trust. This course focuses on developing such competencies for practitioners to gain the confidence of executive and operational management and avoid the marginalization of the public relations function.
