Get a hands-on introduction to the business of advertising by stepping into the shoes of key players (account executive, copywriter, art director) and creating an ad from beginning to end. Build a broad understanding of the role advertising plays in the scheme of an overall marketing plan. Topics include positioning and branding; the basics of creativity and ad development; the functions of a typical ad agency; and the importance of good working relationships and how to develop them between client, agency, and media teams.
