What aspects of marketing influence competitive advantage and help increase sustainable winning strategies? Examine strategy development and competition in-depth. Learn how your company's position exists within that framework. Topics include examining the concept that there are three major competitors that control most business categories and the competitive advantages and disadvantages that this offers. Examine the strategies employed by these three major players as well as the specialists or niche companies that exist and thrive in each industry. We analyze business school cases in hands-on, in-class exercises, and discuss topical competitive marketing issues.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Strategic Marketing Management/X50.9235 or equivalent professional experience.
