Great advertising starts with an effective strategy. Learn to recognize and create a sound, professional, and effective strategy for any product or service. Examine concepts and techniques behind winning advertising campaigns and discover what makes them successful. Explore all aspects of advertising including research, marketing, planning, creative, and the new exciting growth areas of non-traditional targeted media. Discover specific product and competition trends, interact with guest lecturers, and attend important association events. For the final project, students work together as agency teams to present an effective advertising campaign for a specific product in competition for an account.
