Explore events marketing from concept to follow-up. Taught by a veteran events marketer, this introductory course covers the who, what, how, when, where, and why of special events marketing. Topics include when to do an event, what type of event is appropriate, how to sell an event to a sponsor, how to package a program, how to evaluate outside suppliers, and how to build and sustain media and client relationships. Address integrating online content with traditional offline events and plan a special event as part of a marketing program. Guest speakers are featured.
