Through a combination of online and offline research and discussion, students explore the realm of digital marketing, including an overview, definition, purpose, and scope of digital marketing; a review of today's digital marketing tools; their use and impact on business; methods for creating synergy and consumer segmentation; and the development and use of digital marketing plans. Guest speakers are featured as scheduling permits. As a final project, students develop a digital deployment plan to market a product or service using at least three of the tools covered in class.
