Examine the competition among traditional and digital pipelines to the consumer (Internet, broadcast, cable, satellite, wireless/mobile) which have led to unprecedented consumer control over entertainment and advertising. Discover how those technologies are re-shaping the film, music, television, videogame, and ad industries. You leave this course with an understanding of how technology impacts content, an appreciation of the options new electronic media hold for programmers and advertisers, and a sense of the best career opportunities.
